If your goal is to get in great shape and increase your overall conditioning, speed, power, agility, and flexibility, then Hitters SportsPlex Athletic Performance Center is your place. Hitters Athletic Performance Center features state of the art equipment and two of the most qualified, successful collegiate strength & conditioning coaches in the country. Our Co-Directors of Athletic Performance have their B.S and M.S in Kinesiology, several nationally recognized credentials, and extensive experience coaching elite athletes at the Division 1 Collegiate level.
Most notably, our coaches are able to walk the walk and talk the talk with the best athletes as they are both elite athletes themselves. Keysha Benzing is an Olympic level track athlete and an award winning Olympic Lifter. Skipp Benzing is a former professional baseball player and collegiate baseball standout.
Our programs are designed to improve your overall athletic performance by training several critical components of athleticism such as speed, strength, power, flexibility, coordination, balance, body awareness and stamina. Our customized programs are also structured to develop the muscular system to assist in injury prevention as well as decreasing rehabilitation/recovery time.

While training with our coaches at the Hitters Athletic Performance Center, athletes will learn the fundamentals to strength & conditioning, proper lifting techniques including the Olympic lifts, speed development as well as discipline, sportsmanship, character building, mental toughness and what it means to compete.
The Hitters Athletic Performance Center offers top of the line training to all athletes in a safe, fun, professional and supervised environment. Training is offered year-round, in-season and off-season, to male and female athletes from ages of 3 and up and of all skill levels from beginners to elite.
Our programs are customized to meet your needs. If your goal is to improve health, lose weight, gain muscle mass, increase functional speed and strength, develop specific athletic skills, increase overall fitness or train for an event/season, we have the program for you.
1-on-1 Personal Training Programs
Receive full, undivided, attention from one of our strength & conditioning coaches. Our 1 hour personal training programs are customized for athletes and fitness enthusiasts of any age, skill or fitness level and developed according to your long term goals.
2-on-1 Training
Bring a partner, friend or spouse to train with and receive a discount on the per person rates.
3-on-1 Training
Whoever said three is a crowd wasn't training! Receive a further training discount and the benefits of individual attention with three people.

Team Training
If you are looking to find the edge that will put your team over the top this coming season, our team training program is what you need. Collectively, your team will get stronger, faster, more flexible and become a more cohesive unit with our team training program. Our trainers will put you through the same types of programs used by the best teams in the Big Ten and other powerhouse conferences.

Speed Training
The old saying "speed kills" is so true. The faster athlete will always have an advantage over their opponent. They are able to get to the corner quicker, get out on a fast break faster or run down the long fly ball hit that would normally be a sure double. Speed makes big plays, and is one of the most powerful assets known to an athlete.
Speed is a learned skill that can be taught to any athlete who desires to excel in their particular sport. Although everyone has slightly different technique and style depending on their own individual characteristics there are still basic, biomechanical positions and functions that are required to be the most energy efficient, to generate the most power and speed, and to prevent injury.
